I. Introduction to CMC

Chengdu Medical College (CMC) is a provincial public university founded in 1947, located in Chengdu, the famous historical and cultural city of Sichuan Province, reputed as the “Land of Abundance”. CMC has two campuses, namely Xindu Campus and Tianhui Campus. Tianhui Campus is adjacent to the world-famous Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding.

CMC offers a diverse range of academic programs, including 17 master’s programs and 24 undergraduate programs. Currently, CMC has over 15,000 full-time students. Equipped with abundant high-quality teaching resources, CMC owns 7 national and provincial teaching experimental centers and numerous practice bases in collaboration with affiliated hospitals and local enterprises. Adhering to a comprehensive talent cultivation philosophy, CMC commits to fostering competent medical talents with solid scientific literacy, profound humanistic attainment, sound foundational theoretical knowledge, proficient professional practical capabilities and innovative awareness, cultivating well-rounded professionals capable of addressing practical clinical and medical challenges.

As of the end of 2025, CMC has more than 1,200 faculty members with over 130 high-level outstanding talents including recipients of the Special Government Allowance from the State Council, academic and technical leaders of Sichuan Province, and talents selected for the Tianfu Qingcheng Talent Project and Tianfu Emei Talent Project of Sichuan Province.

The college possesses a sound scientific research platform system, covering 8 provincial-level, 12 municipal/bureau-level and 17 university-level research platforms, which support faculty and students in carrying out in-depth hands-on scientific research and academic practice. CMC has established more than 10 high-standard research teams. To date, the college has undertaken 190 scientific research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Social Science Fund of China, as well as over 400 provincial and ministerial-level research projects.

Faculty and research teams of CMC have achieved fruitful academic outcomes and published high-quality papers in top international journals such as Cell and The New England Journal of Medicine. From 2021 to 2025, nearly 2,000 papers have been published and indexed in SCI, SSCI, CSSCI and other databases. In addition, CMC teachers have compiled over 40 academic monographs. The college has been awarded 27 provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological achievement awards, marking remarkable progress in disciplinary research and technological innovation.

III. Admission Requirements

International applicants for the Master of Medicine (M.M.) program in Clinical Medicine at Chengdu Medical College shall meet all the following criteria:

1. Aged 18 to 35 with a valid foreign passport.

2. Abide by the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China as well as the rules and regulations of Chengdu Medical College, respect Chinese social customs and traditions, maintain a friendly attitude towards Chinese people, and be in good health with sound moral conduct and no criminal record.

3. Hold a bachelor’s diploma and bachelor’s degree certificate in Clinical Medicine or be final-year Clinical Medicine undergraduates.

4. Obtain an HSK Level 4 or above certificate.

IV. Application period

May 6 to June 30, 2026.

V. Program Duration and Graduation Certificates

1. Program Duration: 3 academic years

2. Graduation Qualifications: Students who complete all prescribed coursework, finish thesis writing and pass the thesis defense will be awarded a graduation diploma and a Master of Medicine (M.M.) degree certificate.

VI. Fee Structure

1. Application Fee: RMB 800 (one-time payment)

2. Tuition Fee: RMB 25,000 per academic year

3. Accommodation Fee: RMB 8,000 per academic year for single rooms; RMB 4,000 per academic year for double rooms

4. Miscellaneous Fees: Including textbooks, medical insurance, residence permit application, physical examination and other incidental expenses. All miscellaneous fees shall be paid by students at actual expense.

VII. Scholarship

Qualified students can receive a scholarship of RMB 25,000 per academic year. This scholarship is exclusively for tuition fee waiver and subject to annual review.

VIII. Application procedures

1. Applicants shall download required application forms and relevant documents from the official website of Exchange and Cooperation Office: https://dwjl.cmc.edu.cn/index.jsp.

2. Submit electronic versions and scanned copies of all the following required documents to the official email address: cmcis@cmc.edu.cn:

(1) Completed application form;

(2) Valid passport and latest visa page;

(3) Clinical Medicine bachelor’s diploma and degree certificate, or officially sealed undergraduate enrollment certification (for graduating students);

(4) Official undergraduate academic transcript;

(5) Physical examination report issued and sealed by a public hospital (dated on or after April 1, 2026);

(6) Non-criminal Record Certificate issued by local public security authorities (dated on or after April 1, 2026);

(7) Financial guarantee letter;

(8) A minimum of two recommendation letters;

(9) Personal study plan;

(10) 2-inch white-background ID photo.

3. The application deadline is June 30, 2026. Admission results will be released within 2 to 4 weeks after the deadline. Admitted applicants will receive an official Admission Notice from our college. Applicants failing to receive the Admission Notice within the specified time shall be deemed unsuccessful. All application documents are non-returnable; please keep copies for your own records.

IX. Registration

Admitted students shall complete school registration within the designated time, presenting the original admission notice, original application documents and ten 2-inch white-background ID photos. Failure to register on time without valid reasons will result in automatic admission cancellation.

一、学校简介

成都医学院是一所省属公立普通本科高校，始建于1947年，坐落于四川省成都市，现有新都、天回两个校区，其中天回校区毗邻成都大熊猫繁育研究基地。学校现有硕士学位授权点17个、本科专业24个，全日制在校生1.5万余人。

学校教学资源丰厚，建有国家级、省级实验教学平台7个，共建校外实践教学基地若干；以培养具备良好科学与人文素养、扎实基础理论功底、过硬专业实践能力和较强创新意识的高素质人才为目标。

二、招生计划

2026年计划招收10人，招收专业及层次为临床医学专业全英文授课三年制硕士研究生。

三、招生条件

自愿申请到我校攻读临床医学专业硕士学位的国际学生，须符合以下条件：

1.年满18周岁且在35周岁以下，持有效外国护照的非中国籍公民。

2.遵守中华人民共和国法律法规和学校的规章制度，尊重中国人民风俗习惯，对华友好，身体健康，品行良好，无犯罪记录。

3.在录取当年入学前须取得国家承认的临床医学专业本科毕业证书和学士学位证书，否则录取资格无效。

4.汉语水平考试(HSK)成绩达到四级及以上要求。

四、招生时间

招生时间为2026年5月6日至6月30日。

五、学习期限及毕业证书

1.硕士研究生学制为三年；

2.顺利完成课程学习、硕士学位论文撰写及答辩，可获得硕士研究生毕业证书和学位证书。

符合条件的学生每学年可获得25000元人民币奖学金。本奖学金仅限抵扣学费，且实行年度评审制。

3.申请截止日期为2026年6月30日，截止后2至4周内公布录取结果。被录取者将收到我校发出的《入学通知书》；规定期限内未收到录取通知者，视为未被录取。所有申请材料不予退还，请自行留存备份。

九、报到与注册

申请人按规定时间来校报到，交验《入学通知书》和入学申请材料原件，同时交本人2寸白底半身免冠彩色照片10张，办理注册登记手续。逾期无故放弃入学视为自动作废。
